The second meeting of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Business Roundtable Conference was held in Zhongshan on June 11, drawing over 120 participants including government official, experts and scholars, and business representatives.

Themed "Integration, Innovation, Win-Win: Shaping a Healthy New Future for the Greater Bay Area," the event focused on exploring a collaborative innovation model where "basic research is conducted in Hong Kong, Macao, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, while commercialization happens in Zhongshan."
During the roundtable session, guests from universities, industry associations, medical institutions, research institutes and the investment community engaged in in-depth discussions on pathways for coordinated growth of the GBA's biopharmaceutical industry chain.
Before the conference, guests from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, along with representatives of foreign business institutions in Guangdong, also toured Akeso, a biopharmaceutical company in Zhongshan, as part of an investment environment assessment.
