The Yakou Rice Fields Photography Exhibition opened on January 24 in Yakou Village, Nanlang Subdistrict, running through February 28.

Featuring 51 works by 5 local photographers, the exhibition captures Yakou's essence from an "on-the-ground" angle.

The artists traversed field ridges and village lanes to document seasonal farm work, quotidian rural life, and evolving landscapes, vividly portraying the vitality and heritage of this "land of fish and rice".
