The National Day-Mid-Autumn Festival holiday sparked a travel surge in Zhongshan. The city centered its culture and tourism strategy on Xiangshan Ancient City, Chinese Rosewood Culture Expo City and Zhongshan Studio City as three anchor sites, while integrating towns and subdistricts to form a "3+N" tourism network that energized travel.
Preliminary data shows that from October 1 to 8, Zhongshan received a total of 3.8928 million visitors, a 13.89% year-on-year increase. Tourism revenue reached 2.251 billion yuan, up 14.32% year-on-year, with overnight visitors totaling 477,900, a 13.52% annual rise.
