The 10,000-ton floating restaurant Wanjiang Pearl departed from Zhongshan on October 8 under the escort of maritime authorities. Safely towed from Jianglong Shipbuilding's Zhongshan base, the vessel navigated the Modaomen Waterway to the open sea, bound for Wuhu city in Anhui province.
The ship measures 128 meters in length, 26 meters in width and 3.85 meters in depth, with a gross tonnage of 12,371 tons. It can accommodate nearly 900 people simultaneously.
Custom-built for Wuhu's riverside tourism pier, this multi-functional vessel integrates dining, conference, sightseeing and leisure facilities. It will become the longest, largest, and most iconic tourism landmark on the Yangtze River's inland waterways.
