Explore Zhongshan with popular 'Lotus Lady'

The "Lotus Lady" has arrived in Zhongshan.

In videos and photos, she is giving blooming lotus flowers and her blessings to the residents, adding a poetic touch to the city.

The "Lotus Lady", whose real name is Yueguang (meaning "moonlight"), is a photographer. Her hobbies include photographing and selling lotus flowers. When asked about her impression of Zhongshan, she smiled and said, "The pace of life here is very comfortable. You can feel the leisurely atmosphere as you walk around. It is a very livable city, and I immediately felt a sense of belonging."


The cycling route travelled by the "Lotus Lady" covers places that showcase the unique charm of Zhongshan. Come along to explore the city's beauty and experience the pleasant life, just like the "Lotus Lady".


Qijiang Bridge

As a classic landmark of Zhongshan, the Qijiang Bridge spanning the Qijiang River has witnessed the city's great changes.

It links Sunwen West Road, lined with aged arcade buildings, to modern Fuhua Road, creating a distinctive combination of tradition and modernity.


Central Power Plaza

By the Qijiang River and right next to the century-old Sunwen West Road pedestrian street, Central Power Plaza features architecture with strong Nanyang (Southeast Asian) influences.

At night, the Qijiang River Night Market, known as "Xiangshan Ancient Wharf," bursts into life with a festive atmosphere. The dazzling array of snacks and handicrafts makes it a great place to experience Zhongshan's nightlife.

Sunwen West Road, a century-old street in Zhongshan, is home to well-preserved arcade buildings that exude a sense of history.

Congshanfang Historical and Cultural Block

Steeped in neighborhood warmth, the Congshanfang Historical and Cultural Block dates back to the late Qing Dynasty. 


It features over 140 traditional overseas Chinese-style homes, most of which are arcade buildings with brick-concrete structures. Blending Chinese and Western architectural styles, these buildings carry the weight of a century of history.


Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Park

Located at the origin of Zhongshan, the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall stands with dignity and splendor. Its design carries profound symbolism.

From above, it resembles the Chinese character "中," while from the ground, it takes the shape of the character "山," integrating deep hometown affection into its architectural style and reflecting the distinct characteristics of the era.
