A rehearsal for the national tour of stage play "Dr Sun Yat-sen" took place at Zhongshan Studio City on July 30. 

The play, which chronicles Sun Yat-sen's evolution from a Cuiheng Village youth to a revolutionary icon, blends realism with poetic flashbacks to depict his indomitable spirit amid life's storms. 

Starting in August, this production will stage 8 performances at Zhongshan Studio City's Roman Theatre.

Since its November 2024 debut at Zhongshan Culture & Art Center, the production has captivated audiences with its dramatic narrative, stellar performances, and visually arresting staging.

The tour coincides with Zhongshan Studio City's upgraded integrated ecosystem that merges tourism, filmmaking, photoshoots and educational programs, offering visitors a deeper cultural immersion beyond the stage.
