Alex is from Canada and has lived in Zhongshan for 23 years. From an English teacher to a foreign trade professional, and then to a restaurant owner, he has never stopped embracing new challenges.

At the restaurant, he had disagreements with his partner over innovative dishes, but in the end, their ideas collided to create an amazing flavor that conquered diners' taste buds. During his seven years in the lighting foreign trade business, he personally witnessed the prosperous development of Guzhen, the "Lighting Capital of China", and also saw his Chinese partners break through difficulties with wisdom and resilience amid the wave of trade wars.

Alex met love through basketball, settled down in Zhongshan, and also gained sincere friendships that have lasted for more than 20 years. Zhongshan, this city full of human warmth, has become the home where Alex feels the strongest sense of belonging.
