The white lotuses at the Dongming Bridge Aquatic Plants Garden in downtown Zhongshan have entered the flowering period, attracting many visitors.

Covering approximately 8,500 square meters, this large field of "Zhongshan Lotus", a cultivated variety evolved from wild white lotuses native to Zhongshan, will bloom from May to August.

In addition to "Zhongshan Lotus", the city also boasts such varieties as "Yat-sen Lotus" and "Sun Wen Lotus".

In the coming periods, lotuses at Jinzhong Lake Park, Qijiang Park, Rainbow Oasis Wetland Park and Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Park will bloom in succession.
