The China Pharmaceutical Industry Development Conference 2026 opened in Zhongshan, Guangdong on September 15. Co-hosted by the China Centre for Promotion of SME Development, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province, and Zhongshan Municipal People's Government, the conference is themed "Building the Emerging Pillar Industry, Forging a New-quality Future for Pharma". Around 500 participants, including academicians and experts, industry leaders and representatives of innovative enterprises in the pharmaceutical field, gathered to explore new pathways for upgrading China's pharmaceutical industry.
