Guangdong Guangxin Marine Equipment Manufacturing Co (Guangxin Equipment) on March 23 held its inauguration and production commencement ceremony in Zhongshan's Cuiheng New District.

This provincial-level key marine equipment project will inject new momentum into the high-quality development of Zhongshan's marine economy.

A key project of Guangdong Guangxin Holdings Group in the marine sector, Guangxin Equipment aims to support Guangdong in building a world-class shipbuilding industrial cluster. 

With 1 billion yuan registered capital and a 400,000-square-meter site, Guangxin Equipment features an 80,000-tonne dry docks, 30,000-tonne slipways, 600-meter outfitting berths, and 600-tonne gantry cranes.

Leveraging Guangzhou Shipyard International Co's proven technology and management systems, Guangxin Equipment specializes in building high-tech vessels such as methanol dual-fuel chemical/product tankers and diving support ships. Future plans include capitalizing on the Greater Bay Area's location advantages to advance green and smart ship building, enhance competitiveness through tech innovation and capacity expansion, and optimize Zhongshan's marine industry layout while driving industrial upgrading in Cuiheng New District.
