As a production expansion project signed earlier at the annual investment promotion conference, the Zhongshan Qianjiangyou full-industry-chain threadfin fish cold-chain and processing project is under hardware decoration. Meanwhile, the construction of its company-farmer cooperative fish ponds is advancing smoothly.

The project will establish a complete chain covering breed cultivation, farming, processing and cold-chain logistics. The processing workshops, and cold-chain storage facilities are located in Baixi Village, occupying 20 mu (about 1.3 hectares), while the farming facilities are situated in Guangfu Village, spanning approximately 1,500 mu (about 100 hectares). With a total fixed asset investment of 200 million yuan, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of 50 million yuan upon full operation.

Currently, Banfu Town boasts approximately 25,000 mu (about 1,667 hectares) of aquaculture land and 8,000 mu (about 533 hectares) of ornamental plant cultivation areas. High-quality aquaculture and ornamental plant farming are two prominent pillars of the town's agricultural development.
