The town has forged a full-cycle industry chain encompassing seed breeding, adult fish farming and processing, injecting new vitality into Zhongshan's modern agriculture sector.

Key 2025 figures highlight its scale: farming area spanned 1,033 hectares, yielding 100,000 tonnes of fish with a commercial output value of 1.5 billion yuan.
