Zhongshan Cuiheng Village

National Historic and Cultural Village 

　　Cuiheng Village is the hometown of Sun Yat-sen, the great pioneer of China's democratic revolution, and was announced as the national historic and cultural village in 2007. The entire village continues the natural historical environment of "mountain-field-village-river-mountain",which fully reflect the environment of the typical Guangfu area. Sun Yat-sen's former residence in the village, as well as various cultural relics and historical sites related to modern and contemporary celebrities, are well preserved, with a rich variety of architectural and decorative art types. 

　　With Cuiheng Ancient Village as the center, a protection area of 166.49 hectares is designated for the village. The core protection area is 3.57 hectares, extending from Cuiheng Main Street to the north, Rui jie Changgeng Gate in the south, Sun Yat-sen  Residence Memorial Hall - Jianshanyang Temple to the west, and the village wall to the east; The construction control zone covers an area of 162.92 hectares..
