After the ShenZhong Link opens to traffic, there is still one expressway under construction in Zhongshan — the Eastern Outer Ring Expressway.

The Xiangshan Bridge is the main project of Zhongshan's Eastern Outer Ring Expressway. It has a total length of 1,776 meters, with a main span of 880 meters. 

At present, construction of the Xiangshan Bridge is progressing smoothly. The main bridge is expected to be joined by the end of October this year. Looking ahead to 2026, the first phase of the Eastern Outer Ring Expressway is expected to be completed and opened to traffic.
