Bidding documents for the construction and supervision of the infrastructure project (South District area) under the Zhongshan City People's Hospital Consortium are open for public comment on the Zhongshan Public Resources Trading Platform.

The project involves rebuilding Zhongshan South District Hospital on its original site, with total investment exceeding 270 million yuan. Construction is expected to begin in the second half of this year and take two to three years.

Covering about 8,806 square meters, the new facility will have a gross floor area of 31,506 square meters, expand bed capacity to 160, and provide 400 parking spots.

Founded in 1950, Zhongshan South District Hospital is a non‑profit public general hospital offering medical treatment, emergency care, disease prevention, health maintenance, rehabilitation and research services.
