Zhongshan's first day-care medical center, which requires no hospital admission, recently opened at Xiaolan People's Hospital of Zhongshan.

Different from the traditional inpatient process, eligible patients can undergo surgery and post-operative observation and be discharged on the same day, sparing families the burden of lengthy hospital stays and time off for caregiving.

Spanning over 1,000 square meters, the center offers a clean, comfortable environment and is equipped with a full range of emergency and monitoring equipment, including ECG monitors, oxygen supply devices, emergency carts and infusion pumps, along with amenities such as lounge seats, water dispensers and lockers.
