The new campus of Zhongshan Guzhen People's Hospital, a 700-million-yuan project, was put into use on November 23 after three years of construction.

With a floor area of 106,000 square meters, the new campus is four times larger than its predecessor. Phase one offers 500 beds across private, semi-private and shared rooms, each equipped with fresh air systems, direct drinking water dispensers and barrier-free bathrooms.
As Zhongshan's first prefabricated hospital, first star-rated green hospital, first rail-logistics-equipped hospital and first hospital with centralized clean water system, the new campus integrates cutting-edge smart technologies. Automated systems now handle 30% of medication, specimen and surgical instrument delivery, boosting efficiency and precision.

Advanced facilities include class-100 and class-1,000 laminar flow operating rooms equipped with 256-slice spiral CT scanners and DSA equipment, enabling independent execution of complex cardiac, neurological and oncological interventional procedures.
