Zhongshan's CPI dips 0.2% in Jan-Sep 2025

A survey shows Zhongshan's consumer price index (CPI) cumulatively declined 0.2% in the first three quarters of 2025, with the contraction widening by 0.2 percentage points compared with the first half.
Breakdown of price movements:
Food prices rose 0.4%;
Non-food prices fell 0.3%;
Consumer goods prices stayed flat;
Service prices dropped 0.5%.
Core CPI (excluding food and energy) remained unchanged.
