The 2025 Zhongshan Respect for the Elderly Month kicked off on October 19 with a group wedding ceremony at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Library. 

Twenty couples, who have shared over five decades of life together, renewed their vows in a heartfelt recreation of their original wedding moments.

Under lively festive music, the couples walked hand in hand down the red carpet. Their faces radiated the calm tenderness shaped by decades of shared journey, as they solemnly read their marriage vows.

Beyond the wedding, a citywide Tai Chi and Baduanjin showcase was held on October 20 to enrich the cultural life of the elderly.
