Guangdong province'sfirst China Attestation (Hong Kong) Service Counters were unveiled in both Zhongshan Administrative Service Center and Sanxiang Administrative Service Center on October 13.

The counters prioritize delivering clear, precise guidance on cross-border China-appointed attesting services for Hong Kong residents and enterprises. Key services include:

• Inquiry Resolution: Addressing common questions on procedures, required documents, fees, processing timelines, etc.

• Pre-Application Support: Providing preliminary checklists for property purchases, powers of attorney, inheritance, and business registration.

• Resource Access: Offering the latest "Directory of China-Appointed Attesting Officers" to facilitate selection of qualified Hong Kong notaries.

For intricate matters such as cross-border inheritance, M&A deals or major investments, the counters activate the "Guangdong-Hong Kong Notarization Cooperation Mechanism." Cases will be referred to Hong Kong experts for collaborative review, ensuring precise and legally compliant processing pathways.
