December 5 this year marks the 39th International Volunteer Day. On December 1, an International Volunteer Day-themed activity was held at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Library.

Since 2024, Zhongshan has cultivated over 200 high-quality projects, carried out more than 1,200 activities, and served over 200,000 people through a project selection campaign on the high-quality development of villages (communities).

During the activity, the sponsor presented certificates to 25 excellent volunteer service projects.

According to the data released at the activity, Zhongshan has more than 1.1 million registered volunteers, who can provide over 1.855 million hours of volunteer service annually.

At the event site, three outstanding youth volunteer service projects at the provincial level were showcased, demonstrating Zhongshan's diversity and innovation in the professional and brand development of volunteer service.
