The closing ceremony of the 10th Guangdong Games for Persons with Disabilities was held at the Maoming Olympic Sports Center on September 6.

Zhongshan fielded 59 athletes in this year's Games, competing in Special Olympics, Paralympic, and Deaflympic events, including athletics, swimming, road cycling, table tennis, badminton, and etc.

The Zhongshan delegation secured 28 gold, 23 silver, and 33 bronze medals, for a total of 84, ranking 10th in the overall team standings.

The organizing committee presented the Sportsmanship Award to 21 delegations, with Zhongshan among them.
