In late November, construction was in full swing at Zhongshan's Gangkou Children's Park. What was once a vacant 12,000-square-meter plot has been reborn as the 26,000-square-meter core area of the "Child Cube", Zhongshan's first child-friendly neighborhood.

In early December, the neighborhood will launch another flagship attraction, the "Star Ring Gravity Field" play installation. The Zhongshan Meteorological Bureau will join with professional solar observation equipment, guiding children on an immersive cosmic exploration journey.
The "Child Cube" integrates nearly 30 child-friendly venues: from the core Gangkou Children's Park and the children-themed Xiangshan Study, to a drowning-prevention pocket park, Mo City the child-friendly shopping mall and Le Meridien Zhongshan, and then to the aerospace-agriculture eco-park opening soon in 2026. Each place also blends local culinary traditions and intangible cultural heritage experiences, forming a self-contained ecosystem for children with child-centric facilities such as restrooms, restaurants and childcare centers.
