Construction of the Qijiang High School of Zhongshan, located in South District, started on August 17.

The fully residential private institution, representing a 570 million yuan investment, is scheduled for completion in March 2026, with its inaugural student cohort arriving the following September.

Spanning 58,700 square meters, the school will feature 32,000 square meters of academic and administrative buildings alongside 28,100 square meters of dormitory facilities. 

Designed to accommodate 60 classes, the school will provide 3,000 premium high school vacancies.
