The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) Zhongshan Technology and Innovation Research Institute was unveiled at the Zhongshan Life Science Park on May 20.

Covering a land area of 16,800 square meters, the institute is located in Building 4 of the Zhongshan Life Science Park, with over 100 million yuan invested in basic hardware facilities. The decoration has now been fully completed.

The institute will focus on the biomedicine and health industry, prioritizing areas such as the research and certification of new diagnostic reagents, novel technologies for tumor diagnosis and treatment, biomedical engineering, and the development and application of animal influenza vaccines.

On May 20, the PolyU-Zhongshan Technology and Innovation Research Institute GBA Transformation Center was unveiled at the Zhongshan Polytechnic Xiaolan Institute adjacent to the Zhongshan Chen Xinghai Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. 

Leveraging PolyU's talent and research strengths in chemical biology and drug discovery, clinical translation and international communication, they will collaborate to accelerate the clinical implementation of research breakthroughs and extend their beneficial impact to medical institutions across the Greater Bay Area.
