The launch ceremony for action-packed sports film "Ni Feng" was held at the Zhongshan Studio City on August 10.

Based on China's first-ever Olympic appearance at the 1936 Berlin Games, the film tells the story of the Chinese football team that toured Southeast Asia, playing 27 friendlies, winning 24, and raising their own funds to reach Berlin. After the Olympics, many of the players went on to join the front lines of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, defending the nation with their lives.
Shot on location in Zhongshan, Foshan, Guangzhou, Meizhou and Jiangmen, the film is scheduled for nationwide release in July next year.
