The 2026 Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Cultural Carnival (Livestream Fair) opened at the T More shopping mall on August 8.

It was the first time Zhongshan held the overseas Chinese cultural carnival in the form of a livestream fair. Forty famous enterprises and overseas Chinese influencers set up livestream studios on site. Overseas Chinese businesspeople and leaders and nearly 300 overseas Chinese community members from 22 countries and regions took part in the event.
The fair that combined online livestreaming with offline exhibitions and sales featured 40 booths, displaying products from Zhongshan's competitive industries, such as smart home appliances, lighting fixtures, household goods and health foods.
The two-day event drew nearly 50 overseas Chinese businesspeople and leaders to join for product sourcing and matchmaking. They said they would bring more quality Zhongshan-made products to overseas supermarkets and online platforms, helping "Made in Zhongshan" expand into global markets.
