A study tour for outstanding youth from Guangdong and Taiwan was launched on July 8 in Zhongshan. More than 70 university students from the two regions embarked on a 6-day journey spanning 5 cities at the Tourism Area of Sun Yat-sen's Hometown.

The trip will take them to Zhongshan, Shenzhen, Shanwei, Guangzhou and Macao, with activities including visits to historical sites and renowned companies, cultural and rural revitalization experiences, and more. It aims to provide youth from both sides of the Taiwan Strait with firsthand insights into the Greater Bay Area's development and foster mutual understanding.

Since its launch in 2009, the program has attracted over 2,300 teachers and students, becoming a flagship initiative for cross-Strait youth exchanges.
