The 2026 Zhongshan Shaxi Intangible Cultural Heritage Tourism and Culture Week started on May 19 at the Riverside Granary creative park in Shengshi Village.

Running through May 24, a feast of creative cultural products, local cuisine, music and folk parades is unfolding along the Shijiao River. Visitors can enjoy a one-stop water town experience — admiring intangible cultural heritage, savoring delicacies, listening to village songs, and watching vibrant parades.

The highlight of the "Lunar April 8" grand parade will feature nearly 60 formation teams, ranging from traditional performances to trendy additions such as lion dancing robot dogs, costumed models and the basketball players, creating a unique spark where tradition meets fashion.
