Consuls general and consular officials in Guangzhou from nearly 20 countries, including Germany, Italy, Singapore and Senegal, visited Zhongshan on March 2.
The tour began at manufacturing giants including Vatti and Chant Group, where consuls engaged directly with company executives to witness Zhongshan's "manufacturing-rooted, service-powered" integrated development model.

Cindy Wee, Consul General of Singapore in Guangzhou, praised Zhongshan's manufacturing prowess after learning Vatti produced torches for the Singapore Summer Youth Olympic Games and South East Asia Games, highlighting vast potential in high-end manufacturing and biomedicine collaboration.
Josefine Wallat, Consul General of Germany in Guangzhou, emphasized Zhongshan's exceptional manufacturing prowess, confirming a 2026 Germany visit itinerary to explore new industrial cooperation opportunities.
At the Ninghuiyuan Garden, the consular officials immersed in Xiaolan paper-cutting, embroidery, calligraphy and Hung Kuen experiences, while watching displays of electronic technology, healthcare and medicine, and sanitary hardware.

As dusk fell, the delegation strolled along Sunwen West Road, capturing photos and experiencing the historic street's heritage charm and modern vibrancy.
Adama Dieye, Consul General of Senegal in Guangzhou, noted that the visit revealed Zhongshan's industrial strength, cultural uniqueness and social vitality, laying a solid foundation for international friendship and cooperation.
