On November 18, Jiangsu narrowly defeated Liaoning 4-3 in the softball final of the 15th National Games at Zhongshan International Baseball and Softball Center, clinching a fourth consecutive title in the event.


Earlier that morning, host Guangdong suffered a 6-3 loss to Sichuan in the third-place match, falling short of a medal.
