The 15th National Games draws near, and a hiking activity kicked off on October 26 at the Zhongshan Dragon Boat Culture Park.

The "Sports Zhongshan" digital platform was unveiled during the opening ceremony. It will prioritize sharing sports news, promoting sports events, spreading fitness knowledge, promoting sports events and activities, and providing guidance on public sports services. It aims to serve residents' fitness needs, showcase Zhongshan's sports identity, and advance high-quality sports development.

At the starting whistle, nearly 1,000 participants embarked on a 4km route through iconic city spots, such as Qingxi Road, one of Zhongshan's prettiest tree-lined avenues, the revitalized industrial site in Shiqi, and Xingzhong Plaza, culminating at Xiangshan Theater on Sunwen West Road.

The route featured checkpoints, game zones and supply stations for interactive fun. An online "cloud hiking" was also launched simultaneously, extending the sporting vibe to more residents.
