"I hope Zhongshan's cultural and tourism sector will thrive," said Hong Kong director Lee Lik-chi on October 16 at his film-sharing event held at Sixi Café on the Sunwen West Road pedestrian street.

During the activity, Lee engaged warmly with the audience, sharing behind-the-scenes stories from his films and anecdotes from shoots.

Now residing in Sanxiang Town, he praised the renovated Sunwen West Road: "All buildings here have taken on a new look, beautiful and vibrant. It is destined to become a cultural landmark popular among locals and visitors."

As a renowned director, Lee established his celebrity film studio in Zhongshan earlier in August. He plans to launch a social media program with his friends, featuring interviews with Greater Bay Area actors to showcase Zhongshan's scenery.

He also aims to transform a commercial area in Zhongshan into his "Lik-chi Studio," with 50-100 film sets per floor. This would allow everyday people to experience acting, fostering grassroots participation in Zhongshan's film industry.
