The 3rd Hengmen Fishing Season Festival and Water Sports Meeting will take place in Zhongshan's Hengmen from August 15–17, offering visitors three full days of immersive experiences. 

Highlights include a vibrant waterfront culture sports meeting, an ocean-themed marketplace, a fishing season opening ceremony and a banquet, a live music extravaganza among other activities.

The 3rd Danka Water Sports Meeting will showcase dynamic competitions including traditional barrel rowing, three-player boat racing, and this year's debuting single scull boat racing.

A vibrant marketplace featuring 68 stalls will highlight regional maritime delicacies, from oyster pancakes and charcoal-grilled eel to sea-salt ice cream.

The aquatic play area will transform into a summer paradise with the "Island Bubble Party" and family-friendly fishing ponds, where children can experience traditional angling techniques.
