The Guangdong division of the "Data Elements X" Competition 2025, themed "Data Empowerment", has is now open for registration.

The event features 13 industry-specific groups covering such sectors as industrial manufacturing, modern agriculture, trade logistics, transportation and financial services, alongside an open innovation group welcoming groundbreaking technologies, products, models and applications. Each group will nominate at least one project to advance to the national finals. 

Winning entries will receive support in policies, promotion and display, industry-finance matchmaking, data augmentation, talent development and achievement commercialization. To encourageparticipation, Zhongshan will award up to 100,000 yuan for national-level prize winners and 50,000 yuan for provincial-level prize winners.

Open to enterprises, public institutions, research organizations and universities, the competition encourages industry-academia-research collaboration and participation from Hong Kong and Macao entities.
