The annual NordArt exhibition recently opened at the Carlshütte in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Leung Hongman, president of the Hong Kong Federation of Zhongshan Shiqi Fellowship Association and founder of Yan Yi Tang, had his sculpture "Childhood Block" selected for the exhibition.

"The inspiration for this piece comes from China's mortise-and-tenon joinery. It's like a set of large-scale colorful building blocks. I hope it will evoke adults' cherished childhood memories, ignite teenagers' passion for abstract sculpture, and invite everyone to participate in the freeform creative exploration of sculptural art." Leung shared.

Born in Hong Kong in 1974, Leung settled in Zhongshan in 1994. From a young age, he has been passionate about painting and handicraft creation, later working across diverse fields including industrial design, event planning, interior design, real estate development, and the pharmaceutical industry.

The Childhood Block series, created by Leung in 2024, was constructed from foam and canvas. These sculptural installations feature vibrant colors and interactive designs.
