On May 10, before the 114th International Nurses Day (May 12), the Zhongshan Health Bureau held a commemorative event to extend festive greetings and high respect to nursing workers.

Nurse representatives with 30 years of service were presented commemorative plaques, and a capping ceremony was held to induct new nurse representatives into the nursing profession. A show was staged to showcase the professional demeanor of nurses.

As of now, Zhongshan has 18,850 registered nurses. Over the past year, nursing specialty clinics handled over 150,000 patient visits, while the "Internet + Nursing Services" program benefited more than 4,800 homebound patients.
