The classical ballet Swan Lake, performed by the National Ballet of China, will grace the Zhongshan Culture & Art Center on October 24 and 25.

In 1876, Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky composed the score for the ballet Swan Lake. Long seen as synonymous with ballet itself, the classic has been staged in China for 68 years since 1958.

The production to be staged in Zhongshan is Natalia Makarova's version, a signature work of the National Ballet of China and one of the most acclaimed and popular stagings in the international ballet world.
