The 2‑day SPORTFEST Hong Kong 2026 (Zhongshan Leg) kicked off at the Zhongshan Expo Center on August 1, drawing over 4,000 visitors on the opening day, many of them families.

Inside the hall, a variety of activities took place simultaneously, including mixed doubles pickleball, street dance routine battles, fitness challenges, yoga recovery trial classes, youth fencing contests, and youth basketball matches.

The youth fencing open gathered over 100 young fencers from the Greater Bay Area, with more than 100 of them from Hong Kong. A special Zhongshan‑Hong Kong contest and a public experience zone were set up for participants.
