The west zone of Zhongshan Service Area, part of the Guangzhou-Macao Expressway Guangzhou-Zhuhai section expansion project, recently passed the completion inspection.

Featuring the charm of Lingnan water towns, this modern service area will soon open as a new cultural landmark within the Greater Bay Area transport network.

As the largest expressway service area in Zhongshan, Zhongshan Service Area covers 15.47 hectares (equivalent to 22 standard football fields) and is divided into the east and west zones.

Following the expansion, the west zone's built-up area has reached 10,600 square meters, with 353 parking spots and 38 for EV charging piles.
