The "Made in Guangdong, Made for You: Zhongshan Products, Heilongjiang Bound" event, along with a Russian market-oriented trade fair, took place in Heilongjiang province's Jiamusi city on May 20.

Zhongshan's gourmet offerings, intangible cultural heritage, smart-manufactured goods, and cultural and tourism products shared the spotlight with Jiamusi's premium "black soil" products and ICH in northern China.
The gourmet experience zone was the undeniable crowd favorite. Authentic Zhongshan flavors wafted through the air, winning over the palates of local residents and visitors.

Riding this northward push, Centrone Group brought Zhongshan specialties, such as Shiqi pigeons and crispy grass carp, to Heilongjiang and into the Russian market. The company also earmarked Heilongjiang products — rice, cold-water fish, honey and birch sap — for direct sourcing to supply its catering operations.
"Smart Made in Zhongshan" also debuted, with nearly 30 companies based in Dongfeng town, dubbed Small Home Appliances Innovation Base of China, showcasing over 60 new products including electric skewer grills, food processors, electric steamers and flame-effect fireplace heaters, drawing crowds of shoppers.
Yan Wei, general manager of TCL Air Conditioning Heilongjiang, believed that the event boosted brand recognition among Jiamusi residents and caught the eye of Russian buyers, laying the groundwork for Zhongshan-made home appliances to enter the Far East market of Russia.
