Two key projects at the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Cooperation (Huangpu) Industrial Park, namely the Zhengmei smart washing appliances manufacturing base and the Guangdong Hengdang Heyi Industrial Park, broke ground simultaneously on May 8.

The 4.5-hectare cooperation park includes such areas as Dacen, Dayan, Huangpu Port, Maxin and Xinfeng, with a total investment of 600 million yuan. It will feature standardized production workshops, R&D buildings and supporting facilities, with annual output exceeding 800 million yuan at full capacity.

The Zhengmei company has thrived since settling in Zhongshan's Huangpu town in 2007. While operating in the Maxin industrial park, the company has incubated several subsidiaries specialized in kitchen ware, smart products and washing appliances, respectively.

"The new base is expected to go into production by the end of 2027, with annual output hitting one billion yuan within three years," said Huang Weiqiang, chairman of Zhengmei Washing Appliances Co Ltd.
