The first fleet of driverless delivery vehicles on March 18 launched operations on 4 demonstration routes, including 3 in Torch High-tech Zone and 1 in Cuiheng New District.

Jointly developed by L4 autonomous driving leaders Rino.ai, ZELOS and Neolix in partnership with Zhongshan Public Transportation Group, SF Express Zhongshan and China Post, the initiative serves express logistics, last-mile delivery, meal distribution, and more.

Initial routes focus on SF Express outlet-to-station deliveries, with vehicles also transporting meals to the company's canteens via collaboration with Zhongshan Public Transportation Group. 

Each driverless delivery vehicle can complete 4-6 trips per day, handling 250-500 parcels.
