Ouyang Jinquan, vice mayor of Zhongshan, met with Adnan Hayal, Türkiye's consul general in Guangzhou on December 30, 2025. The two sides exchanged views on deepening practical cooperation in economic, trade, cultural and other fields.

Ouyang Jinquan noted that Zhongshan home appliances and lighting firms have already established market presence in Türkiye. He emphasized mutual strengths in smart home appliances and new energy, announcing plans to visit Türkiye for business exchanges in early 2026.

Adnan Hayal praised Zhongshan's harmonious urban environment and expressed eagerness to deepen industrial collaboration. He welcomes Zhongshan's high-quality products to explore the Turkish market, and he is willing to promote Turkish companies to invest in Zhongshan and will provide support for Zhongshan enterprises to engage in exchanges in Türkiye.
