Warmth enveloped the pediatric building of Zhongshan Bo'ai Hospital on December 5. Consul General of Belgium in Guangzhou Wim Peeters' visit transformed the medical space into a cross-cultural haven.

The day marked the official launch of Zhongshan's first in-hospital "Healing Art Exhibition Area". Adorable Smurfs characters delivered blessings through wards, and a book donation ceremony delivered love crossing borders.

In the first-floor lobby, guests witnessed the art therapy space's debut. Soft hues and dynamic art installations bridged the gap between gallery art and clinical care.
At the art exhibition area on the 10th floor, interactive light-and-shadow installations made the abstract concept of healing tangible and accessible.

Meanwhile, on the 8th floor, child patients and volunteers created lively rhythms in an Orff music African drum class, their laughter easing medical anxiety.

"Seeing my child's long-awaited smile, we truly felt the healing power that transcends medicine," said a parent of a child patient.
