Every autumn-winter, bald cypress trees in Jinzhong Lake turn golden. Just grab a walking buddy for a lakeside stroll!

Navigate to "金钟湖大石头 (The Big Rock at Jinzhong Lake)", enter the park, walk northwest across the reservoir dam, and the bald cypress trees will come into view: their green, yellow, orange and caramel hues blend like a painter's palette.

Stroll the loop trail — wind ripples the lake, treetops sway, and time slows.

Need a break? Sit down at a lakeside pavilion or on a bench to watch visitors coming and going and kids playing nearby.

You can spread a picnic mat on open grass, or set up a small canopy, and gather with loved ones to snack, share tunes, and chat.

Best viewing season runs late December to early February. Remember to plan ahead!
