The highly anticipated west island of the ShenZhong Link will begin trial tourism operations from October 25, with official opening in December.
"Research and sightseeing tours will be first offered basing on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area cross-sea passage science base on the artificial island. Reservations are available Monday-Friday for enterprises and study groups, and weekends for individual visitors," said the operator.
Visitors from Zhongshan can start the trip at the Zhongshan Expo Center station. The first test group on October 25 enjoys free entry; subsequent testers get early-bird pricing. Each tour lasts about 2 hours.
The official tickets for adults are priced at 188 yuan, students at 158 yuan, and children/special visitors at 128 yuan, covering round-trip transit and 3-hour island visit.
Visitors can snap views of Shenzhen Bao'an Airport and the ShenZhong Bridge from the atrium observation deck, while exploring the 2,200-square-meter science base.
