The Zhongshan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese (ZSFROC) has recently inked a framework agreement with the Association of Worldwide Young Chinese School Principals (AWYCSP) and the Chinese School Association in the United States (CSAUS). The partnership aims to pioneer new pathways for cultural exchange among overseas Chinese youth while advancing the preservation of Chinese heritage globally.
Under the accord, the trio will collaborate on multi-dimensional programs tailored to the cultural needs of overseas Chinese youth. These include joint organization of summer (winter) camps, Chinese language learning programs, art exchanges and cultural activities. The initiative seeks to deepen operational synergy between overseas Chinese schools and the ZSFROC, institutionalizing a sustainable cooperation framework to strengthen youths' ancestral ties and sense of belonging.
Founded in 2024, the AWYCSP champions modern Chinese-language education and global Chinese education development, boasting over 70 member institutions across more than 40 countries. The CSAUS, established in 1994, represents over 500 member schools spanning all 50 states in the US.
