The awards ceremony for Groups B (ages 35-44) and C (ages 45-60) of the men's 5-on-5 basketball of the 15th National Games mass competitions was held at Zhongshan Gymnasium on the evening of September 9.

Earlier that day, Guangdong secured victories over Fujian and Beijing respectively to claim both titles of Groups B and C.

The Group B final was held at Dachong Town's Qinggang Sports Park, with the host team overwhelming Fujian 78-61 to claim gold.

The Group C final took place at Zhongshan Gymnasium, where Guangdong exploded out of the gates with a 100-65 rout of Beijing, completing a double championship sweep in a day.
