The Yellow River Cantata concert, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, echoed through the Zhongshan Culture & Art Center on the evening of September 7.
The stirring musical feast was made possible by the intense efforts of those behind the scenes. From September 5 to 6, rehearsals for the concert were held simultaneously at multiple venues across the city, with nearly 200 performers giving their all.
